Obviously CP. Get an EcoBoostStang

I wouldn’t say CP, but the price is really high. It’s a super nice car, but you can be in a well sorted M3 for that kind of money. I know a guy who’s got one as nice as this, Alpine white over cinnamon and he’ll never let it go.

Def rare though, I’ve never seen one with those seats and I see a lot of E46's.

Such crack pipe. You can buy an M3 or M5 for that money.

They’re not unicorns FFS. It’s a 14 year old car, it hasn’t kept over 50% of its original value.

I don’t see the heated seat controls, nor do I see the headlight washer covers. Probably not a cold weather package car. I don’t get why a ZHP should be worth more without a sunroof. No one is going to get any benefit from the delete option because no one is going to beat on this enough at the track if they’re paying over $20,000 for it. I think buying a nice 330i sedan and stuffing an S54 in it would make more sense than buying this one.

Ask for the VIN and drop it in at bimmer.work - that should give you the build options.

It’s baffling. I’ve been looking for one for a long time because they were such a great car for the money. Now that I can afford one, and good ones are in M car territory, I’m rethinking my whole life.

At this level, I’d buy an M3, not this. That’s a really easy call right there. For $22,500, it won’t have 43k on it or be as pristine, but I wouldn’t care.

The E46 M3 has probably already bottomed out on prices - at some point, the market will wise up and the ZHP cars will fall, I think. But that may take a while.

CP. But now is probably the best time to buy an E46. I really want one.

Unless they moved them between 00 and 03, the seat heater switch should be above the ashtray, surrounding the DSC button. This car ain’t got it.

I’m a huge fan of these, but yeah. You are definelty in M car territory. Or you could easily get a similar mileage 2011 N55 E90 sedan for maybe a bit less. I understand the appeal, but c’mon

That’s a few thousand higher than I paid for my 2006 M5 with the same mileage two years ago, if that’s helpful for contrast. Pretty sure my car would blow that thing off the road and I still have a sunroof.

It’s an E fucking 46 for Spongebob’s sake, and not even an M or Alpina, or at least a full on Dinan but I’d value those lower.

Total CP and I am a BMW nut. E46 330 sedans are fun, I’ve driven one. I even think they look as good as the coupes. But for that much money you can buy an e60 550i or an e90 335i with a stick... newer, nicer interior, faster. I don’t get it.

I’m really curious to see if this can stay under $10k. I kinda think it will. Smaller engine, and has been sitting a long time. Doesn’t look all that pretty now, either — but the bones appear to be in great shape, and I love the round taillights better than square.

I agree about the taillights. First thing I’d do is throw a wood steering wheel in there and tuck that front bumper up!

Tires! Step 1 is tires! But yeah, step 2 is a Nardi wheel, and I’d like a little tuck on the bumper, too.

He mentions he’s listing it for a friend.

Which means he’s inflated the price to beyond what the seller really wants so you can get a discount if you really spoke to the seller.

I dont know about 3series packages in detail but a 330

As a E46 owner (Not a ZHP but still 330) that is INSANELY overpriced.

Low miles be that as it may...that’s a 14,000 dollar car. Tops.

Selling my 2014 228i MSport MT (no sunroof) for less - it’s a way better f*cking car. My 2 cents

I’m trying to be as thorough as possible because I’m selling the car below market so people automatically assume something catastrophic has happened or is happening and I’m attempting to offload, unfortunately I just really need the money. That is correct, Bradley International is the only major airport in CT but Logan is a couple hours away in Boston or any of the NYC/NJ area airports are accessible as well.

Goddammit! I knew we were wrong as soon as I started reading about ‘patina’ in the comments on that car.

$12,500 and there’s still an hour and twenty minutes to go. It’ll go between $15 and 20k.

Hmmm, that’s a good point there...

All part of the education process for me - I kinda assumed that the 1600's were less desirable than 2002's. I saw a stunning beige 1602 down the street from me recently, and that had me thinking.

With old cars, originality has always been important to me - - so I hate seeing the original cars with a few warts going for big $.

Yea I agree it’s annoying. I’ve stopped looking at GTV alfas for that very reason. I remember when you actually needed a trailer for most of the cars on BaT, now it’s fancy pants central! I think I’ll have to find out outside of there when I’m ready. I have CL notifications setup for 2002s, and E30s. The same 2002 has been hitting my inbox every week for over a year. It started at $18500 and is down to $13500...I’m just here waiting.
